How much does ESP cost?
You pre-pay for "email credits," then ESP deducts one credit for each email recipient you send to. It's that simple. Click here for price list

Do email credits "rollover"?
Yes. Credits rollover and they never expire.

Does it cost extra for tracking?
No. ESP tracks unique clicks and unique opens for free.

Technical Questions

Can I track clicks and opens with ESP?
Yes. ESP tracks clicks and opens automatically. You don't have to do anything special.

After they click to my website, can I track every page they visit?
Yes. With your account, you receive a JavaScript tracking code for use on your website. This JavaScript, when placed on every page, will tell you what pages your recipients are viewing, and for how long.

Does ESP let me MERGE data from my list into my campaigns?
Yes, you can merge many fields from your database into ESP campaigns. Use these fields in your HTML to merge data: [[firstname]], [[lastname]], [[emailaddress]], [[companyname]], [[phone]], [[user1]], [[user2]], [[user3]], [[user4]]

Can I track WHO clicked, and WHO opened my email?
Not only can ESP tell you WHO clicked and WHO opened an email, ESP will tell you each time they click and open your email. In addition, ESP can send you Email Alerts that are triggered each time an email is clicked or opened.

Can ESP send Flash emails?
Yes, you can embed Flash movies in your HTML email. But your recipients' email applications all handle Flash differently, and anti-virus programs usually block the <embed> code used in Flash. So be sure to test your campaigns thoroughly. If you don't already have one, get a free ESP trial account and test your Flash email code before sending your campaign. You'll get 50 free email credits, which is plenty for troubleshooting.

Can I send emails with JavaScript, ActiveX, DHTML, etc?
You can, but virtually all of your recipients will have anti-virus applications that block it---so we recommend you avoid that stuff in HTML email.You've got to keep HTML email very, very simple to guarantee readability across all the email applications out there. We have a free getting started guide if you'd like more tips.

Do I have to know HTML to use ESP?
Not necessarily, but it definitely helps. If you don't know an ounce of HTML, use the HTML editor included in ESP to create your Email Templates. If you don't know HTML, and you really want HTML email newsletters, we recommend you hire a designer to create a template for you. Then you can plug it into ESP, and "replicate" it over and over again.

What are the hardware/software/operating system requirements to use ESP?
ESP is not software that you download. We're an application service provider, so you use ESP through your web browser. You do not need plug-ins or special software to run ESP.

Do you rent or sell email lists to ESP customers?
Absolutely not. ESP strictly forbids the use of rented or purchased lists on our system. ESP members may only use the system to communicate with recipients who explicitly opted in to their lists, and they must be given an opportunity to opt-out of those lists, too.

Do you contact, sell, or rent out MY email list?
No. Your list is kept strictly confidential at ESP.
